Not so long after earning my accounting degree from Minnesota State University in 1992 and  my law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 1999 I embarked on a transformative  journey. My wife, Dr. Julia Garofalo, had been practicing dentistry for 10 years and was an  active partner in a large multi-location dental practice. Following the addition of our first two  children, it was in 2001 that Julia realized her true passion wasn’t in corporate management,  but lay in practicing dentistry and then spending the rest of her time with our family.

 

Together we made the bold decision that she would leave her current position and venture into  the realm of entrepreneurship, establishing Saluté Dental as her very own practice. Julia to  oversee all things clinical. While I would continue my career, I would also take on the non clinical business duties at Saluté: accounting, finance, legal, marketing, graphic design,  customer service, IT, and human resources.

 

Success happened quickly. In 2003, we opened our doors and were both humbled and honored  so many placed their confidence in us. In 2004, we already had the need to hire another full time dentist and team of support staff. In 2005, I officially made managing all non-clinical  aspects of Saluté my full-time career.

 

In the early years of Saluté Dental, I recognized a gap in the dental market and began to  differentiate our practice with innovative business processes and creatives. My approach went  beyond the dental service. By leveraging clever creatives, I established our reputation as  industry leaders, creating a sustainable competitive advantage.

 

With my diverse background encompassing accounting, law, and with an innate creative side, I  possess a unique blend of analytical thinking, legal expertise, and artistic flair. Now, through  Snell Branding & Creative (SBC), I leverage my expertise to integrate design and technology,  fostering the growth of future "Saluté Dentals."
